The Women behind the Pillow
Behind every enVy® pillow is a dynamic duo of sleep-obsessed, spine-saving, wrinkle-busting wonder women—Kim and Kathy. Together, these two nursepreneurs turned their passions for health, beauty, and a good night’s sleep into the Ferrari of pillows.
Kathy’s story started in the halls of Sick Kids Hospital, not just as a nurse, but as a teenager undergoing scoliosis surgery. Little did she know, her experience and interest with spinal health would come full circle. Years later, she was back—this time rocking scrubs in the ICU and burn unit. Talk about a plot twist!
Meanwhile, Kim's work in operating rooms to her pioneering contributions to aesthetic medicine where she became an artist with the aesthetic needle. But she quickly spotted a problem: sleep wrinkles. Those pesky, pillow-induced lines no neuromodulator could fix. Was there a solution? — a mission was sparked.
The stars aligned (and maybe even Kathy's back) when they collided during a mom’s hockey game. Kathy quickly decided Kim was better as a teammate than an opponent. What began as a serendipitous meeting on the ice turned into a partnership that would change the way people sleep forever.
