The short answer is "Yes"
Just like linen, cotton, bamboo and other natural fibers, there is going to be some wrinkling. Only synthetic fibers (microfibre, polyester etc) made from sketchy processes are less likely to wrinkle.
Although we are more interested in minimizing facial wrinkles, if you want to minimize wrinkling of your sheets here are a few tips:
1. Fold your sheets immediately after drying. Folded sheets will show less wrinkles, where as sheets bunched up in a washing basket will get very wrinkly.
2. Set your dryer to 'iron' setting, if it has one. This will leave a little bit of moisture in the sheets and then iron straight away. The moisture left in the sheets will make the ironing super simple.
Our amazing Tencel is made with 100% natural fibers in an environmentally loving process. Great for you and mother earth, but they do require a little more care than synthetics.
This is totally a personal preference. Our pre-washed COPPER infused sheets are made and handled in very sanitary conditions, BUT most importantly, the COPPER technology in the fibres have killed any germ that could have possibly come in contact with them before arriving to your bed. So washing is not necessary, the sheets are beautiful straight out of the COPPER infused bag it comes in!
Most people are used to judging the quality of bed sheets based on the thread count, but when it comes to TENCEL™ sheets, thread count doesn't matter. In fact, many TENCEL™ sheet manufacturers don't even put a thread count on their sheets. Instead, they focus on the quality of the fibers.
